Seniors - Geraldine Ralph Photography

Let us create a session that reflects your senior's style!

Choose from a variety of outdoor locations featuring an urban, city or classic outdoor field to create a custom senior session!

What to wear...

I recommend at least three different outfits: one casual, one sporty (or something that represents your hobby or special interests) and one formal, but you are welcome to bring as many things as you like. More is better! Wearing something bold and colorful with a lot of texture is a great way to showcase your senior's personality! Knits, embroidered, dark denim and ruffles are great choices. Please avoid neon colors and text or graphics as they distract from the subject.

It is also important that articles of clothing are freshly pressed and hung on hangers so you can look your best! If you choose to wear nail polish please make sure your color is fresh and chip free.

The following checklist is designed to help you get ready for your big day!

1.) Find your style inspiration. Consider which looks you like best by gathering magazine pages and searching Pinterest boards. Pinterest is also a great resource for putting together the perfect color and cut of clothing suited to your body type and personal style.

2.) Schedule your appointments for hair, makeup and nails. Be sure to get on your stylists' calendar early; hair cuts and root touch ups should happen two weeks before your session. Gentlemen may want to consider leaving some nearly trimmed facial hair to accentuate the jawline.

3.) Create at least three basic looks to highlight your personality: something casual, something professional and something dressy. I always say bring as many looks as you like - it's always better to have more options! Remember this is your day to SHINE! Make sure everything is pressed and ready to go the night before so you can arrive relaxed and ready to have fun!

4.) Gather all shoes, props, styling tools and accessories the night before and have them in one place.

5.) Double check your session time and plan to arrive 15 minutes early. It's a good idea to bring water to stay hydrated.

6.) Make sure nail polish is fresh. You may want to bring along hair spray and lip gloss to keep hair full of volume and lips looking dewy.
